It requires doing courses and getting certifications that can be time consuming and costly, in addition, and to guarantee a successful treatment, the treatment plan?must?be prepared by a trained orthodontist. Then there are?monthly?follow-ups which will also take up much of your chair time.?

Through our tele-dentistry platform, we can provide your patients a convenient and affordable clear aligner treatment experience remotely and under your full control and supervision.?Here is our process in?three simple steps.??

#1 Initial consultation??

7 out of 10 patients that you see could benefit from having straight teeth.?Talk to your patients?about BASMA aligners if you think that they?have mild crowding or spacing.?If the patient is interested, you can proceed by taking either a 3D scan, or a PVS (Putty and light body) impression, followed by few intraoral pictures to capture the patient's bite, and teeth. We require, 3 bite pictures (Center, Left & Right), 2 occlusal pictures (Upper and Lower arches), 2 front facing pictures (1 with a big smile and 1 without a smile) and finally a right-side profile picture. That’s all we need!??

#2 Add the patient to your account?

Don’t worry, we make?the process simple and help you with your first case.?After the initial consultation is done, you will be able to add the captured details,?scans,?and pictures to your patient's profile which you can create using your account on our Doctors Portal, this step is very simple and will not take you more than a couple of minutes. This account will help us communicate more efficiently with you and your patient.??

In this profile you will add your patient’s personal information (Name, Number, Email, etc.), their chief complaint and the type of malalignment that they have. After that you can upload the scans under the section called 'Scans' (must be in?Stl?format) and intraoral pictures under 'Impressions and photos'. This profile will then be reviewed by our orthodontists to evaluate the case. If you do not have a scanner, no need to worry, because we will pick up the impressions from your office.??

#3?Monitor the treatment remotely?

After you have created the patient profile, our orthodontists will evaluate the case to see if it is eligible for our clear aligners, once the case is approved, we will start creating the treatment plan and 3D simulation which will be visible on the patient’s profile.???

In certain cases, our orthodontists might decide that an IPR?(inter proximal reduction = creating some space between the teeth to align them)?or other procedures are required either before starting, or during the treatment. We will inform you and your patient of all necessary procedures and provide a detailed guide along with the treatment plan. If you are not sure how to preform IPR, don’t worry, we will teach you how to do it!

Once the patient begins treatment, you can relax and monitor his/her progress through your account on the Doctors Portal.?
