Grow Sales, develop a process

I was asked a question a few days ago, do you have a Sales Process? Of course I do, but what I have learned is that there is no "correct" sales process for every team. Sales leaders have to understand their market and the internal dynamics to reach the best decision for their team. You see, a strong sales process is at the height of every high performing hotel's revenue. Your sales process is the backbone that supports your hotel's scale. It enables accurate forecasting and allows sales, marketing and revenue management to work together for high growth revenue. The sales process also facilitates root cause analysis when quarterly sales go sideways. I have also learned that you have take small steps when designing the right sales process. The outcome differs for different teams but if you want to achieve maximum results, you have to be consistent with documentation and actions. Your must create objective selling stages and activities and you have to assist the buyer's journey. It is better to have a Sales process, than not to have one.
