Group Practice Accelerator – June
Polaris Healthcare Partners
We help healthcare entrepreneurs build and exit successful group practices. Clarity. Confidence. Results.
My two favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and the 4th of July, mainly because they’re uniquely American and rooted in gratitude. As June ends, I reflect on the 4th of July through the lens of a book I recently read, Tunnel 29 by Helena Merriman. If you need a good summer read, this is it. Tunnel 29 tells the true story of Berlin after World War II, a city divided by an authoritarian government that separated families and friends for decades. It’s a powerful narrative about the human desire for freedom—something I often take for granted. I seldom pause to thank those who risked everything for the freedom I enjoy each morning.
?To all the entrepreneurs who engage with our newsletter, podcast, and content, we know this path is one we’ve chosen. Even on our toughest days, I’m grateful for the freedom to choose this journey.
Cheers,

It is mission critical to establish the role of Chief Clinical Officer early on in an emerging group for reasons surrounding clinical philosophy, clinical systems, skill development, and quality assurance. Yet this is seemingly the most challenging role for many Founders to define. Dr. Andrew Matta literally wrote the clinical playbook as Co-Founder of the North American Dental Group, so I had him share his wisdom and experience with our Ascendant Executive class. His session was so good that I decided to share the audio with you!
WOW! Sometimes you’re given a gift of industry research and we’ve got TWO of them on the same day. I share some further insights into a report from PitchBook as well as an article from Becker’s that validates the entire “Operator versus Aggregator” approach to the last 2+ years.
Judging from all of the feedback and website activity, many of you LOVED the Case Study we released on our work with Pelican Landing. I bring our Fractional COO, Adin Bradley back behind the mic to give some further explanation to the work he has done with Drs. Rich and Lacy Gilbert.
