Is a pattern of favoring members in one's inner circle over other team members.? This is a phenomenon that influences presidential elections to the normal work-related stuff. At work favors start from giving chances, increments considering for promotion, assigning projects and in many multiple ways. There is a bias towards the inner circle members over the others.
The group can be formed based on flimsy reasons to regional, language, religion, caste, ethnicity, age group, or favoritism. We are social animals and would like to form groups quite obviously.
