I was so excited to work with Project Presence again this summer, bringing creative group workshops to middle school students and teachers on Long Island! The summer program is designed to support the students in developing their social and emotional learning (SEL) skills through a holistic, empowering model.
I facilitated large and small group workshops for the students and teachers, focusing on self-awareness, self-regulation and connection through group drumming and reflective journaling and discussion. It was wonderful to hear the amazing insights that were shared in the small groups about internal and external rhythms and how it feels to be in sync vs. out of sync with others.
I am excited to continue bringing this holistic and playful approach to other schools and programs in the NY tri-state areas - for more information please visit my website or contact me directly so we can chat about your program's needs and how we might work together.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

7 年I play the drums and percussion. Glad to see drumming being used to help students in this way.
