Group 11: Welcome To A Brave New World

Dovi Frances and his chief futurist Roxane Googin are saying some really important things that everyone needs to hear in their latest missive -

"What matters most is we are in a new world and we face not interest rate tweaking but a generational restructuring of the economy."

Welcome To A Brave New World — A Multi Trillion Dollar Disruption Journey

I'd also like to highlight the conclusion where they recommend being agile and using the tools at hand aggressively to shape the future -

"Change and uncertainty will be constant. But just as the small mammals outlasted the dinosaurs, the small and agile will survive the rigid old order to take over the world. ... We will reinvent our education, healthcare and financial systems. We will fix our energy system that is literally burning us to death."

Lofty goals indeed and as I said in yesterday's post, it's the first time I'm hearing brave leaders talk about how drastically everything is about to change: "The new world order will be barely recognizable from what we know today."

My Commentary

Dovi and Roxane are 1000% right. Being agile to suit ourselves to the shifts is really crucial at a time like this. This is absolutely the right direction, attitude and approach.

I would just like to add to these great statements, how our ability to be agile comes from the person him/herself. Meaning our ability to adapt to changes on the fly, to be attentive to the system, the ability to work more collaboratively - this is the real agility we see in these leaders and their team.

This may seem simple and straightforward but it's not. The real solution to our challenges will not come from external actions and deeds. They are the result of the person him/herself.

So it all comes down to our emotional intelligence - how much we've invested in developing it so it can serve us well throughout this transition. One way or another I've been talking about this for the last 20 years.

To summarize, there are two points I would like to make -

1 - I have a tremendous appreciation for the way Dovi Frances and his Group 11 always keep things real. This proves to me once again that I was not wrong about this leader.

2 - From now on we're going to need to focus on the structure of the individual and their ability to form the right kind of relationships with others. We're right on the verge of discovering how this is the best source of fuel for the new era, which will allow us to purposefully move in the right direction, and with the right intention at all times.
