#Groundbreaking for Atlanta’s Central Perimeter’s $2 billion High Street development thanks to GID

High Street, a $2 billion mixed-use project in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter submarket, has broken ground in its first phase. That Phase 1 of the project includes approximately 600 apartments, 150,000 square feet of retail space, 90,000 square feet of office space, 222,000 square feet of existing space, and an area of about 7,500 square feet dedicated to lawns.

GID reports that High Street will locate between Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive, near the Dunwoody MARTA station. The project includes 672,000 square feet of Class A office space, a 400-key hotel, 400,000 square feet of dining, fitness, entertainment, and 3,000 residential units. The project will expect to complete in 2024.

Anchor tenants were announced for the project as early as September. Putt-shack, a mini-golf bar, and restaurant, was the first anchor tenant announced for the project.
