Groundbreaking Advancements in Deployments-as-a-Service Technology with Pulumi Deployments

What will you accomplish when you enable your infrastructure team to manage 10x the cloud footprint they do today?

Many companies are finding that deploying and managing cloud infrastructure is a bottleneck in how fast they can scale. Things quickly fall apart as demand for cloud infrastructure outpaces the bandwidth of infrastructure teams.?

At Pulumi , we want every engineer and organization to be able to take full advantage of the cloud. It should be easy for everyone to build and ship on a world-class cloud platform.

Plus, developers want to spend time writing amazing code, not worrying about deployments, while DevOps teams rely on automation to deliver faster, high-quality, and more reliable software to drive business value.

Deployments-as-a-Service Technology

Pulumi's Deployments-as-a-Service technology - Pulumi Deployments - enables software engineers to use infrastructure controls to 'spin up' or update existing cloud applications and components instantly with a Git commit, a click of a button in the Pulumi user interface (UI) or a 'call' to the new Pulumi Deployments REST API.

Software developers are always looking for new ways to increase velocity while following best practices," said Martin Woodward , VP of DevRel at GitHub . "Pulumi Deployments enable teams to take their code to the cloud faster by applying familiar Git-based workflows to their infrastructure code."

Pulumi Deployments provides scalability, observability, and security for deployments. It consists of five components:

  1. The Deployments REST API
  2. Remote Automation API
  3. `git push` To Deploy
  4. Click to Deploy from the Pulumi Service console
  5. Deployment Observabiltiy & Visualization

With Pulumi Deployments, you can run Pulumi infrastructure as code actions (preview/up/destroy/refresh) inside Pulumi’s fully-managed service.

Taking Infrastructure as Code automation to the next level

Pulumi Deployments is the pioneer in Deployments-As-A-Service. Our technology allows DevOps teams to manage 10x the amount of cloud infrastructure resources per engineer using GitOps workflows, just look at the data.

Chart regarding cloud engineering efficiency , showing a extremey higher count of resources per engineer with Automation API and traditional CLIs.

That's why we built public APIs + building blocks and turn-key workflows like click and `git push` to Deploy.

Check out the video walkthrough below and our announcement article Pulumi Deployments: The Fastest Way to Go from Code to Cloud .

Out-of-the-box Pulumi Deployments offers your cloud engineering team a turn-key infrastructure delivery workflow without writing a single line of code.

Every piece of infrastructure within your organization can rely on automatic cloud delivery.

The engineering efficiency chart makes intuitive sense. But how do I read "total updates" on the x-axis? Is that per engineer? Per amount of time? Per resource?
