How we get outside of our heads and into the world
What does it mean to get outside?
Step out and breathe some fresh air. Explore something new and escape the familiar. Take a walk or the long way home. Feel the wind change directions or embrace the smell after it rains. Take a step back. Meet new people and discover new places. Do something that scares you so much that it becomes your new favorite thing. Most importantly, get outside of your comfort zone. Comfort rarely brings new ideas into the world, but when we get outside, we're challenged to think differently. We aren't constrained by the canvas, dimensions, or word counts; getting outside empowers us to wonder, to question, and to dream without limits.
Outside shifts perspective.
It's wide open territory for asking questions with radical curiosity and learning something new. It's a breath of fresh air and an opportunity to approach creativity with renewed ambition and a new perspective.
