GRIT: Motivation and Consistency

Of late I was reading a book by Angela Duckworth titled "GRIT" and some of the context of the book really inspires me a lot. To be successful in life we need to have two things: Passion and Perseverance. Every now and then we keep on picking new ideas, new hobbies and fail to continue till its end which ultimately results in loosing interest and we blame the situation for not being in parallel with us, but if we go into the details and ponder over it we realize that it was not the situation which made our path apart from our journey but it was "Us"-our comfort zone which deviated our will and we fail to stay focus.
Comfort zone is a very relaxing zone which everyone enjoys but to know your actual potential you need not to have comfort zone but the GRIT to complete the race. We cannot dwell in our comfort zone forever and blaming whole universe not favoring us. To do something extraordinary or for that matter something unique which describes your identity, we need to have the passion to complete the race which we have started. There are no shortcuts to excellence. Developing real expertise , figuring our hard problems, it all takes time and this is the only time where you can apply your GRIT to attain your goals which you have decided for yourself.
