Is Grit More Important Than Talent?
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.
–Alvin Toffler
Why do some people grow while others get stuck?
There are a lot of factors, but one of the most important is grit. Grit is resilience, the ability to realize that we are all works in progress.
How can an audience be captivated, instead of just held captive?
How can we stay more curious? How can we learn new things and keep pace with the world?
I am thrilled to share Expanding The World: On The Future of Education, a project that contains my heart and soul. I proposed the idea to Flat World CEO Chris Etesse, after we had a discussion about Marc Andreessen's comment that software is eating the world. Yes. But education is expanding it. Flat World, a pioneer in the chaotic education technology space, supported this project and gave me the full freedom to shape and create it.
I would love your thoughts on how we learn, your own tips and tricks, in comments below. Thanks for reading and sharing!
