The Skill India is a campaign launched by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on 15th July 2015 with an aim to train over 40 Crores (400 Millions) people in India in different skills by 2022. The mission is of great significance as India currently faces a severe shortage of well trained, skilled workers. It is estimated that only 2.3% of the workforce in India has undergone formal skill training as compared to 52% in USA, 68% in UK, 75% in Germany, 80% in Japan and 96% in South Korea. Large sections of the educated workforce have little or no job skills making them largely unemployable. Therefore, this skill development program is certainly going to scale up skill training efforts to meet the demands of employers and drive economic growth.

However, trained unemployment is a far bigger challenge than simple unemployment. There are various challenges for skill training segment which our team has observed after thorough research:

? Aligning student aspirations with Industry expectations on salaries and job roles.

? To convince employers to hire the skilled force rather than looking for a cheaper resource.

? Availability of good quality trained trainers. There are more than 10000 Industrial Training Institutes in the country, employing large number of trainers but their skills do not match industry requirement today.

? Poverty is also a challenge as poor people cannot come to skill centres that are generally located at District, far from the villages.

? For any skill development effort to succeed, market and industry need to play a large role in determining courses, curriculum and relevance. For this, employers need to be put in the driving seat, with the government acting as a regulator and not the implementer.

? Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) responsibilities are not clearly defined to coordinate State and District level programmes. Currently, there are 20 government departments operating skill development programs with overlapping functions.

The nation belongs to us and it is the duty of each one of us to stand-up and step forward with a feeling of brotherhood, nationalism and unity to show solidarity and set example before other nations that we are a unit of young nation and has that power to bring change we wish to see but to bring this ultimate change, a platform is required and the International Organization for Educational Development – IOED (www.ioed.in) has made this easy by forming an International Academy for Social Excellence – IASE where everyone can participate by becoming a member and can use this platform to bring glory to this nation with open wings.

The Resurgence of the global society through Cognitive Science and Art of the Universe is educational-cum-developmental project is in the benefit of all as it will upgrade the human development index. Cumulative efforts and support in any form will definitely make this mission a revolution in the field of education and help in the resurgence of the global society.

The entry is strictly through Membership and applicable for all concerned. The IASE has seven level Forums cordially welcome one and all to this Universal Cognitive and Social Development Endeavour: Foreign Missions, Advisers, Students, Vocational, Police and Defence Personnel, Executive, Professors and Bureaucrats and Corporates.

Annual Membership Fee:

For Foreign Missions is USD 1000

For Advisers is Rs.5000

For Students is Rs.500

For Vocational is Rs.1000

For Police and Defence Personnel is Rs.2000

For Executive, Professors and Bureaucrats is Rs.5000

For Corporates is Rs.10000

Prospective:

Opportunities for:

1.   Universities in every State for collaboration with the IASE

2.   Educational Institutions to start CSE Chapters.

3.   PhD Candidates from any Stream to develop as Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) to head CSE Chapters. Each PDF will guide ten (10) PhD Aspirants and will get handsome emoluments. Cognitive Science Research Course is of Nine Months duration. Excellent PDF will be nominated to the Academic/ Research Councils.

4.   PhD Aspirants may also work as Faculty members of PG candidates of respective stream.

PG Candidate will learn and work as a Faculty of UG Students and they will also be sharing revenues in respective to their trade.

The short term courses and one year duration projects will be supported with certified vocational Diplomas in traditional science of Universal health and education like of Ayurveda and Herbals – Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Character Education, Computer Literacy, Foreign Language, General Knowledge, Personality Development, Robotics, Self Defence and Skill for the particular trade as per local area requirement in the Universal interest

These short term vocational courses are sufficient to meet global demand of skilled workforce. The 10th and 12th passed School dropout students and above are highly recommended for these short term vocational courses.

The IOED is also inviting Universities to work with mutual cooperation as goal is same i.e. to make every citizen skilled, educated and self-dependent. It also invites professional, technical, agricultural and farming institutions and experts to its net work. Empowering poor children with skills developing lodging and boarding facilities is also its mission. Creation of employment opportunities is fundamental to all Nations. Youth are to be nurtured mentoring them with love and affection (Science and art) academically, industrially and culturally.
