One common theme we noticed were that some of We produced these educational videos and then shared them with each of our school districts, local civic groups and the departments Facebook and Twitter as well as several news agencies. youtube.com/watch?v=aix8o_jZczE , Youtube.com/watch?v=VictTuN0Ytk. In recent years the Town of Greenburgh has distributed thousands of free reflectors to pedestrians.?Currently, these reflectors can be picked up at Greenburgh Town Hall and the Theodore Young Community Center.

?The Walk Safe education Continues today, The town has installed miles of new sidewalks connecting low income housing developments to Parks, shopping and houses of worship.?New sidewalks are currently in the design planning stage for Hillside Ave, Juniper Hill and N Washington Ave. A sidewalk on Central Ave from Marion Ave to West Hartsdale Ave should be completed within two weeks.

Three additional crosswalks featuring Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons, and audio for the vision impaired. The Town has also worked with NYSDOT to install a HAWK (High Intensity Activated Crosswalk) crossing Central Ave at Lawton St. That HAWK?system will be installed and operational in 2022.?The intersection of Ardsley Road At Sprain Road has a brand new traffic signal with advanced warning, helping to reduce crashes?at that intersection and improve traffic flow. East Hartsdale Ave is slated to receive??Syncro green Adaptive traffic management signals. Although 2020 had people working from home, more people working from home increased traffic complaints from those who were home to observe traffic issues.
