Greenburgh posts number of tickets issued on digital boards to encourage motorists to comply with vehicle laws
It's impossible for the police to be on every state, county, village, town, city road non stop where speeding occurs. As a result - motorists take their chances and frequently violate traffic laws. The town of Greenburgh is now testing out an initiative that I think will make motorists think twice about speeding, crossing red lights, violating traffic laws. We're posting on a digital board (see photo) number of tickets issued during the month. Would like this to be done on some of the parkways and highways as well (287, Saw Mill River Parkway, Sprain Parkway, Bronx River Parkway, etc..)
