In our 'Renewables around the world' series, today we’ve focused on the French region of Brittany, where we have reached a new milestone after successfully installing the first wind turbines at the Saint-Brieuc ?? offshore wind farm. In total, it will have 62 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 496 MW ??, enough to produce 1,820 GWh/year of renewable and emission-free energy, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 835,000 households. Furthermore, we have signed an ?agreement with Unicef in Brazil to promote educational and environmental actions in public schools ??, which will benefit some 120,000 students. Our objective is to help raise awareness about the importance of efficient energy use and climate change.
