Green Gold Society

Green Gold Society is a Govt registered voluntary organization dealing with under privileged children specially in the rural areas and senior citizen. The society has been supporting underprivileged children through school networking under its Child Friend Program in the community. The program has been started functioning since November 2014 with 5 orphans . I it is a non - traditional community based approach rather than institutional approach. Now the number has increased 128 among 50 schools. Another 70 underprivileged will be brought under Child Friend Program soon. It is a new model of its kind and nature. The society believes that community support and involvement is the main strength of development and reintegration of under privileged children. The society also believes that through systematic planning, motivation and awareness building among the community people local resources like school/ educational institution, play ground , library etc can be used for developing the underprivileged children in their known environment and keeping them in touch of family members , relatives and care givers . As the holistic approach sensitization program on hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, family and individual counseling , Child Rights will be taken for over all development around the net working schools area. The program is now running entirely on local participation and support. Any person/ institution can provide suggestion, advice , pragmatic planning, CSR support, promotional support and other means of support to make the program more effective.
