As you know, the planting season has begun. Literally a period in which the world becomes greener again ?, and that makes us truly happy. However, we face enormous challenges due to increasing environmental disasters, loss of biodiversity, … and overconsumption that has a significant impact and does not necessarily make people happier??.

1. Green Friday ??

Are you participating in 'Black Friday' or are you turning it into a 'Green Friday' as well?

Let us share two inspiring client cases with you. Together, we can make a statement and show that planet and profit can go hand in hand ??.

1.1 The Xandres case ??

Xandres is a Belgian fashion label that stands for quality and 'slow fashion' thanks to sustainable materials and a repair service ????. For Xandres, Black Friday is a no-go, as they close all their stores on that day. And we get to be part of it.

On 'Green Friday', we can host various workshops focused on 'ecohacks', helping all Xandres team members learn practical, everyday adjustments to reduce their ecological footprint ??. Additionally, for every garment Xandres repairs, they plant a mangrove with us in Madagascar ????. This initiative aims to incentivize clothing repair and make it more of a norm. We think this is a great example!

1.2 The Rubio Monocoat case ??

The products of Rubio Monocoat ensure that wood applications last a long time due to proper care. At the core of their business is the commitment to taking care of natural materials. On Green Friday, Rubio Monocoat does not offer discounts but instead plants a tree in Europe for every order over €50 ??. Last year, this initiative resulted in 390 trees, and this year they aim for even more.
