The greatest ROI activity for leaders everywhere is gratitude for our Spark Kindlers.

Every leader shining brightly today has benefited from their Spark Kindler.

When we pause and acknowledge our Spark Kindlers, we see the power they actually gave, rippling through our whole life.

We see that what seemed like a small gesture to them at the time, actually is something that, even decades later, you can look back and go I’m here because of that.

It's just amazing.

When I pause and go deep into this reflection, I become overcome with a flood of emotions doing this work recently because I do feel regret that I probably raced on and didn't even appreciate some of that support at the time.

I also feel a bit inspired that those small acts have such a massive impact on my life and what I've been able to do for others.

And then I also feel emboldened to stand here today and say this is the greatest ROI for leader's work - kindling the human spark.

But it sounds too big and grand.

What I suggest, starting today, is just start to see the spark in others.

Like a sports person talks about getting their eye in, just try and get your eye in and see the opportunities around you everywhere.
