Greatest promo in forever? Maybe.

Greatest promo in forever? Maybe.

Her name is Sarah Keats. I don't know her from Adam. But I'm slow-clapping her from Austin for the post she put up the other day.

I get a lot of people asking me how to stand out in this world now that so many of us are crammed into corners with our computers being our only escape.

I write about the subject in Chew With Your Mind Open, my Advertising Survival Guide. Shameless plug, check.

And then along comes Sarah Keats's to prove my point.

If you really pay attention to the shifts in how we work and play, you find small truths.

Like Sarah did.

We've all been in the position where we have to write the email of our lives. We've all know the fear and self-loathing. But few will ever capture it with the ethos that Sarah did in one simple, boring visual that blew my brain.

There are a lot of people lamenting the death of creativity. And then there are the people reviving it. The Sarah's and the Mischiefs.

Let there be no confusion about which side of the argument I live on. A great idea can come from anywhere and be anything. Pre-rolls. Packaging. Empty digital calendars full of hope, trepidation, and human vulnerability.

I hope Mischief hires you, Sarah.

I love when you champion other people. It’s one of the things that sets you apart.
