The Greatest Gift

The greatest gift you can give people you love is to live up to your potential.
That is what I am after every single day. I recently realized that I am a self-improvement junky. I have 11-12 books on my shelf that I need to read, yet I buy a new book every couple of days. I have 7 pages of saved audio books on audible.com, along with 6 books that I need to listen to on my app, and every month I add one more. I read daily, I listen to my audio books daily, I am doing the things that I need to do daily. I just can't get enough it seems. And in my opinion, it is okay to be obsessed with self-improvement or to be a "book junky".
I am striving to be the best that I can be. In everything. Not just business or money or family. Every aspect of my life needs to be a 10. I believe this is one major key to being truly fulfilled.
"Success without fulfillment is failure." Tony Robbins
I have recently discovered a new book. "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. This, to me has been one of those books that has absolutely changed my life. I won't get into it to much but, here is my main take away so far (I've been doing it now for 2 weeks). When you control your mornings you control your day. It is that simple.
Look, I love my daughter more than ANYTHING. However when she wakes up, I don't get much work done in the first hour or so. Why? Because she deserves my full attention and I will give it to her everyday. When we would wake up together, my morning was unproductive in the "work" aspect but 100% in the family aspect. Now that's okay, I am blessed and so happy to be able to do that with her every morning. I just wanted more out of my business. So, I decided to commit to getting up at 6:00 am every morning. This gives me 3 hours of uninterrupted focus time. This has helped me tremendously. Back to the point, getting up at 6 am and doing what I need to do in the mornings has taught me discipline. That has been lacking in my life for many years, and that alone will be a key factor in my self improvement and business improvement GROWING exponentially in the coming months.

You can really live the life that you want and be successful and fulfilled in all aspects of your life that you choose, if you have the discipline to do what needs to be done to get them. This is not easy. It is hard work, but it is worth it. And usually when you work hard to achieve something, you are fulfilled when you do!
Decide today to commit to improving all areas of your life. Decide to be the best version of YOU. Once you decide that, commit to growing and learning and improving every day. Have the discipline to stick to it, and to continue to do even when you don't want to! You know what you are worth, so go out and get it.
