LACOE’s Community Schools Initiative

Our partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is dedicated to supporting the Community Schools initiative, which aims to improve the academic, emotional, and physical well-being of students. By codifying LACOE's community school model into a regional toolkit and providing technical assistance and support, we ensure that tens of thousands of students and their families have access to critical services and resources.

Advancing Digital Equity

Through partnerships with organizations like Best Buy and the Annenberg Foundation, we've established the LA Community Impact Hub—a network of creative spaces where teens can explore technology, build skills, and connect with regional employers in tech and entertainment.

College Access and Career Pathways

One of our primary focuses is expanding access to equitable and enhanced dual enrollment opportunities for low-income and BIPOC high school students. Through initiatives like the LA College Accelerator Network, we collaborate with K-12 districts and community colleges to create pathways that make college and dynamic careers more accessible. By providing regional convenings, developing tools, and offering direct support, we empower LA County districts to unlock state funds and build new opportunities for students.
