great review

great review

Richard Eckley could not have chosen a more appropriate time to release his latest book,

How to Master Your Health. As the world faced a pandemic that came from nowhere,

suddenly we had to review our lives whether we wanted to or not.

Richard’s writing style makes it easy to understand the basics of very complex subjects,

giving bite sized chunks of information that are easily processed. The book itself even

explains how that works.

Through nine short chapters, Richard guides you through the basics of the importance of

looking after ourselves, both physically and mentally. As I read about the importance of

drinking water, I found myself reaching out for the glass that I had already poured but not

touched!

Many readers will already be aware of the information that is provided, but awareness is

not action. This book is a good motivator to get started and make the first steps to a longer

and healthier life.

As we face the challenge of living with Coronavirus, it is important that we all look at our

lifestyle and daily choices. In the chapter about stress, Richard states that 92% of our daily

worries have no substance and gives ideas on how to change your thinking to drastcally

reduce the stress that we self-impose. This can only improve one’s health and state of

mind.

This book is a great introduction, encouraging the reader to learn more and take action. It

has certainly been the gentle prod I needed to start clearing the fog in my brain and take

ownership of my lifestyle choices.
