Great Remote Working Tools
I would like to share a list of great productivity tools I've tried that you can use to build remote businesses.
General Productivity:
Time Buddy - A mobile app that is super handy to find the time across multiple time zones.
Calendly - Best tool ever to book individual and group meetings around the clock.
Google Drive - Still the best place to share folders and files, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, images, slides, etc.. I created a running meeting note to keep everyone updated with Google Doc, and that was pretty much the strategy backbone of the entire project that we built since Day 1. Since it has tiered access with Gmail accounts for each folder, you can create a public folder with all your brand elements in it for partners to use.
Notion - A must-have for internal memos, templates, instructions, and policies. It is collaborative and more formal than Google Doc, with expandable sections.
Slack - Useful for daily communications internally and with partner companies, you can create a channel with designated members around any topic, so you can track different projects and their progress, or create a dedicated channel for boiler room talks.
Media:
Medium - You can create a company blog with each contributor identified via their personal account. I'm pretty sure it's free. We use it as our news page, you can see all project milestones in one place.
Twitter - Many crypto companies use it for news updates and Ask Me Anything(AMA) voice interviews, which can be recorded for latecomers. For a while, I organized AMAs with partner companies weekly, and the listeners of each recording grew exponentially.
Gitbook - Brilliant knowledge-sharing tool for product instructions, FAQs, product wiki, and any lengthy information that can be structured to assist your clients.
Zendesk - Build your support team with Zendesk, you can manage all agents and tickets and insert automated responses etc., very handy.
Mailchimp - Honestly, not the most straightforward to use, but still a classic tool that can be integrated into any email operations.

There're also Discord, Reddit, Telegram to build community groups, but I only highly recommend Telegram as a real-time messaging tool. Building channels, groups, and sharing files is super easy, many startups run text-based AMAs there too.
Design:
Figma - Great for interface design with interactive notes.

Miro - Useful for complex and interactive flow charts, meeting whiteboards, and interface design.
Lucidchart: Super easy to draw flowcharts and create any shape or insert images. I am yet to try more advanced functions, but it took me less than 5 min to get up to speed.
Canva: This one needs no introduction, right? Great for slides, posters, and brochures with plenty of templates and elements, you can also insert a recorded video into a slide.
Technology & Product:
Loom - Use it to record demo videos to demo products, and record development progress to keep asynchronous teams in sync.
Auth0 - Seems to be an indispensable tool for generating and managing user accounts.
LogRocket - Useful to identify product bugs.
Mixpanel - Useful to track user metrics and growth, with data visualisation and statistics.
Linear - Project management tool to help prioritise and track tasks.
PostHog - You can monitor user behaviour to help AB testing and product iteration to improve user experience and adoption, etc.
Github, Gitlab, Atlassian - Tech team collaboration tools.
