A Great Recharging Skye Walk - Highly Recommended

Day 2

I’ve just returned from what’s becoming my annual Highland pilgrimage, guided by the ever-reliable and fun-loving Lee Anderson of Not About the Summit . This time, it was two exhilarating days on the Isle of Skye, journeying through the rugged beauty of the Black Cuillins. A wild camp at the midpoint, with the ‘leave no trace’ principle applying, is the memory of adventure, embodied by the essence of carrying everything needed in a backpack.

Stepping away from the fast-paced business world to immerse in nature provided the perfect reset. I gained many takeaways from those two days off the grid, surrounded by raw landscapes and fresh air - planning, anticipation, benefiting from the fitness training, eating well, drinking lots of water and picturing the end of the walk pint.

Now, it’s time to channel that clarity into funding some exciting technology ventures in my role as a Fractional Investment Lead. Stay tuned on LinkedIn for more ventures seeking funding soon.

A great place to reflect and recharge

Great stuff Dermot. It was wonderful enjoying another expedition with you and getting to know you a bit more. The camp spot and summitting Sgurr na Stri with those views was somewhat special, and that pint was well earned! To eternal youth... Slainte!
