Great Partnerships: MTU & MB92

It was not by chance that last thursday 22nd November, Thanksgiving Day, MTU Ibérica was celebrating his partnership with MB92 jointly with MTU Ibérica service partners in Barcelona during the VII edition of MTU Ibérica Service Conferences.

Not far away from there Christopher Columbus statue witnessed from the heights the impressive concentration of super yachts from 40 to 200 metres MB92 hosts in the different spaces of the shipyard and also those placidly berth in Port Vell, big majority of them powered by MTU engines.

There are not many places around the world where you can see so many of them, specially so big and luxurious... as there are not more than a couple or three shipyards in the whole world capable to offer the highest quality and range of refit works to host them all whenever they are in the need of maintenance or repair.

MB92 is not only a big and modern shipyard with a drydock, synchrolift, travelift and also berth places for more than 14 superyatchs... I'd dare to say that even the outstanding shiplift they are building for 4,800 tons wouldn't be the biggest competitive difference they will offer. To me, the MB92 feature that really makes the difference is the great human group working for the company, an unusal mixture of experience and youth, commitment and fresh air, deeply customer oriented and always eager to go the extra mile.

Therefore it's not by chance that MTU Ibérica and MB92 keep such a great relationship and partnership from so long, because we share the same values and the same willingness of giving the customer the best possible service experience and we always do our best to demonstrate our partnership can exceed the highest expectations of one of the most demanding market niche.

Having said so and taking advantage of the special date, I wanted to say I'm thankful to be part of the world class leading partnership that MB92 and MTU conforms in superyacht service which I'm sure will last for many more years.
