Great Opportunities are Born During Great Difficulties

I don't think you're ever fully prepared for what's going to happen.

In 2007, I was running a successful finance business that had expenses of about $90,000 per month. Things were pretty good.

Then the GFC started to erupt.

During a time of deep self-reflection, I saw what is happening right now. I knew that what I was doing, was not going to continue to work {GFC freezing the credit markets}.

While everyone around me thought I was crazy, I knew I wasn't.

It cost me $1,000,000+ to exit that business. It involved letting 38 people go inside of that business.

Since that time, my #1 priority was being able to have a high profit business whilst helping people build businesses that were recession and shock proof.

A big big part of that was my Mindset. It became my number 1 tool in the tool kit

Until the last 2 weeks, I never said the word recession. Certainly not seriously. Because, just like the word survival, it's scary.

It's normal to feel a lot right now.

It's normal to feel like..."What do I do?"

Most businesses and people don't have a lot of extra money.We live in a world where month-to-month has been normalized.

Things in the coming days will likely test you.

You may look back and say to yourself...

"I wish I saved more money..."

"I wish I didn't spend money on dumb things...""I wish _______________"

However, the truth is...You can never be ready for what's in the future.

You can save.

You can scheme.

You can plan.You can mitigate risk.

If I'm being honest,

I'm not ready for this time, either.

I thought I had at least another year to prepare.

I wanted more money in my bank account.

I wanted more progress in what I was doing. I wanted... well, like you, to be further than where I am today.

I wanted to be more prepared.

So, what do you do in this situation?

 The most important thing I've found, through being nearly a million dollars in debt at 28, along with all the crazy things that have tested me in my life is this...

That in any time where you aren't certain, you can only be certain about your ability to figure it out and the level of certainty around your resourcefulness.

If you have to cut team members...

If you have to stop investing...

If you have to postpone that event...

If you have to give refunds...

If you have to change your offer...

If you have to change who you serve...

If you have to change where you live...

No matter what it is.

I trust that you can figure it out.

 I trust that you are resourceful, beyond how much you might think you are.

Why do I know this?

 The human heart, mind and soul is powerful.

I believe in you and no matter where you are today.

 No matter if you're up or down.

No matter how you're feeling.

Or how much money you have in your bank account.

I promise you.

You'll be fully rewarded.

And...You'll figure it out.
