Great News from Stanley College

As we celebrating our most successful year to date; we like to thank our students and their parents for their confidence and support. Since its establishment, more than ten thousand students have graduated from Stanley College.

With three campuses and 1900 enrolled students looked after by 200 friendly staff, we have become the largest Western Australian private training provider registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students.

In 2016, Stanley College won the Western Australian Industry Export Awards for the Education & Training category and was a finalist for the Education & Training category at the 54th National Awards.

This year, the Australian Skills Quality Authority has re-registered Stanley College for the maximum registration period of seven years.

We have helped more than 75 international students from the collapsed Australian College of Applied Education (ACAE) to continue their course at Stanley College. The loss of a quality competitor is disheartening however it is the reputational damage to our industry that is of most concern. Stanley is honored to assist these former students of ACAE.

Similarly, the Department of Training and Workforce Development had to terminate the funding contract for one of the providers to local students due to a breach of their contract. As a member of the Government’s Preferred Provider Panel since 2014, Stanley College has taken on several students who could no longer continue their studies with their provider.

At Stanley College will continue to provide high quality training to local and international students and use this opportunity to reiterate the fact that – unlike ACAE - Stanley College is an independent college, Western Australian owned and operated, and in a very strong position to take the lead as the premier training and education provider for Western Australia.

With growths comes responsibility! Our new Governance Framework will ensure that a high level of independence and academic rigor are achieved. The new framework will help Stanley College to transition from a training provider to a respected academic institution.  

We aim to provide a valuable option for local and international students seeking a professional career and further study pathways to Universities.

Next year, Stanley College will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. We will celebrate the event at our new campus in West Perth and all Stanley College students and alumni will be welcomed to join the celebration.
