A Great Nation is Born from a Great Suffering

A great nation is born out of great suffering.

A great nation will be tested by adversity.

I have been crying on this platform for the past three or four years. This photo is one of the content I posted three years ago.

I am surprised to sob until today. It's amazing!

Israel was a great nation in ancient times. I do not mean today's unscrupulous Israelites. Whenever I say Israel, please take note that I'm referring to the amazing Israel antiquity, the nation of our spiritual forefathers.

As documented in the history of humanity, the ancient Israelites became a strong nation after suffering great hardships. It was one tear of Rachel that made Israel great. While she was in labor to give birth to a child, Rachel was working as a slave. She wiped her tears from her eyes and said, "Is there Adonai in heaven?"

Tears are colored water but hotter than fire in spirit. After allowing the Israelites to suffer 400 years of slavery and misery, God heard Rachel's plea.        

Ethiopia today resembles ancient Israel. We are in dire straits today. God has two primary purposes when He visits a people with tribulation: first to punish them, then to prepare them for greatness.

The Israelites, Joseph's eleven brothers, were punished because of their huge mistake. These brothers were jealous of their younger brother Joseph, whom their father Jacob or Israel adored most. Therefore, they sold him into slavery in Egypt. Envy is one of the bad spirits in mankind, originating from Satan.

Because of the awful mistake they committed against the innocent Joseph, God punished the Israelites with hunger. Joseph was regarded as a great man in Egypt, but his brothers willingly became Egyptian slaves to make a living. As they age, their population grows. As a result, the Egyptians viewed the Israelites as a threat and became hostile to them.

The Egyptians grew even more ruthless to Israel, ordering the immediate execution of all male children so that Israel would perish over time. Even today, in the twenty-first century, the same thing has occurred in Ethiopia with a certain ethnic group, with the recognition of the international diplomatic community to eliminate a major nation or ethnic group from the world.

Women's wombs are removed, and the unborn fetuses are discarded to prevent the reproduction of this ethnic group in Ethiopia today. The great Moses was miraculously saved as a youngster through God's purpose. We don't know but believe that God has brought such agony on us with a plan. We seek a great leader like Moses to free us from the miserable life of this wicked world led by satanic America.

The history of slavery in Israel is one example of human brutality; eventually, God heard the outcries and released the Israelites from servitude. The story is long.

Israel became a great nation after slavery. Unfair suffering makes a nation so strong and eventually great. After suffering and sorrow, the Israelites built a pure religious system that we still refer to today. By having strong faith, the Israelites broke the Great Wall of Jericho only by sound. They did lots of miracles only with the help of God. This is already documented in the holy bible.

Israel was one of the two ancient nations (along with Ethiopia) that believed in the existence of God and served Him, while their counterparts, the Egyptians, Greeks, Babylonians, and others worshiped gods and goddesses. In ancient times, Israel was the only country where great prophets and sages were born.

Again, Ethiopia today represents the era of Christian martyrs, the era of Saint George and St Arsema. In Christianity, a martyr is someone who is killed for their testimony or belief in Jesus Christ.

The glory departed from Israel because they had crucified the Son of God, the only son of a humble woman. As a result, Israel lost its grace and glory and was scattered around the world for almost 2,000 years. I do not believe Israel's wrongdoing today puts God's glory first. For the ancients of Israel were not like these.

Israel's current behavior today is like wandering around roaring for Jesus, whom they crucified many years ago. Their efforts will fail. Between Moses and Jesus, Israel was a great nation. After that, everything fell apart. John was exiled from Israel and lived on an island isolated from the world when he wrote a great revelation; little known by the majority except for a few spirituals.

To come to the point, we are experiencing great agony in this cruel world. Only God knows what will happen next. But now we live in this terrible world.        

When the Israelites migrated to Egypt to escape starvation, they did not think that this kind of slavery would happen to them. I don't think they ever thought that God would make them a great nation that persevered through hardships while living in slavery and exile.

Therefore, it is reasonable to think that God brings suffering to a people for good. Who knows, if Ethiopia can become a great country after this ordeal? Leaders like Moses in the tribulation; Prayers like David; Wise men like Solomon, Prophets like Isaiah, etc. may be born. Today we see martyrs like George. In the 21st century, there is no greater grace than having a generation that welcomes martyrs for their faith. Facing Goliath; Generations will be created to face America tomorrow.        

Seeing the whole world ignore us while we're on fire is heartbreaking. This is why we take comfort in God when people hate and despise us. Such neglect is a sign that we will be a great nation tomorrow. For this, we do not lose hope in God.

When a human being has an upset,

And when time pushes him like a man to set,

When there is no means to find a lost gateway,

Hope in silence is the only way.

May Almighty God remove all our problems.

There is time! There is hope!
