Great Minds in STEM Celebrates Memorial Day

I love Memorial Day because it reminds me of the selfless spirit among thousands of service men and women of the United States Armed Forces.?They are American heroes who protect the values in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution with their lives. ?Because of them and our Founding Fathers we enjoy tremendous freedom to pursue our dreams, to find happiness, and to be ambassadors for peace. ?We also bear great responsibility to make our nation stronger, more compassionate, and less prone to defensive behaviors that weaken the foundation of this great Republic.?We must respect the viewpoint of others and understand the concerns they try to express so that diversity of thought leads us to positive change and to a stronger America.

I extend my condolences to all families who have suffered the loss of a hero and I give thanks to all who are protecting us today in all corners of the world.?
