A great meeting at SMPTE last night!

Last night Steve Yedlin, ASC who edited "The Last Jedi" talked On Acquisition and Pipeline for High-Resolution Exhibition. This was one of the best talks so far. Proving that all this talk on 4K, 6K, 8 K is a waste of time and hard drive space and that the human eye can not even see 4K. Steve’s demonstration has stirred excitement among imaging professionals for its no-nonsense,evidence-based approach to understanding resolution and the perception of image clarity. "I think it challenges some of our culturally conditioned dominant narratives about the photographic integrity," said SMPTE Member Joachim Zell.
