Great Lake Erie photographer honors passing of man who inspired him

When David Sandford was a child, an older cousin - Bill Pargeter - taught him to see Lake Erie in a new way. Sandford grew up to capture images of the lake that exploded around the world. When Pargeter died unexpectedly last month, Sandford saw only one way to honor him - by turning to the work Pargeter inspired. Read the tale, and see some stunning images, in my column for The Buffalo News.
