It was Memorial Day. You remembered and paid respect, at least for a moment, in some way to the men and women that made it possible.

Then you got on with your life and started using that “free” time.

Maybe you got caught up on a few things around the house before you started visiting with friends and family for the barbeques and drinks.

Maybe you snuck in some quiet time to read a book, play with the pet and or the grandkids.

Or, maybe you did all of that and got some Netflix time too.

Imaging being able to extend that time for a few weeks or a month or more.

You didn’t go out over the weekend and buy a Lamborghini or a 30-bedroom beach side mansion.

However, you had a good time doing pretty much what you wanted to do, and you weren’t too concerned about the money.

If you’re heading back to work today, and a lot of folks are, remember that you had a chance to enjoy your life on your terms for a few days.

If you’re age 50+ you’ve already put in years making money for someone else, or if you have your own business, trying to please a number of people.
