Set in a post apocalyptic environment, chosen people from different tribes visit a süper intelligent computer each year and ask 3 questions. If the computer can’t answer the questions correctly it will leave the humans alone but in case of 3 correct answers it kills the people and takes the body nutrients as a fuel to replenish its power.

Philip Dick wanted to use the theme of this story for a novel and started to write it but couldn’t complete due to his lack of info related to Christianity. He passed his original writings to Ted White, a sci fi editor and author as well but White also couldn’t contribute either. In 1968 Roger Zelazny took the writings and finished the novel in 1975 with the help of Philip Dick. So we can also encounter the big C in this new novel named Deus Irae…
