Great business books for your summer reading list...

Good morning everyone...

A couple times a year I like to share a list of great business books that I would highly recommend to anyone in business, but particularly to people who deal with the general public. Here are 4 that should be on everyone's list to read.

Why should we take the time to read business books? Why wouldn't we? They are filled with great ideas that we can implement today... and they will help us grow our business.

Hate reading? There are so any great business books in audio book format.

If you are looking for new skills, tools or ideas to help you grow your business then these 4 books are a must. Each will inspire and educate... so start the first one today.

  1. John Maxwell's "Everyone Communicates, Few Connect". Tremendous read about communicating effectively with clients, friends, prospects and family.
  2. Simon Sinek's "The Infinite Game". Fantastic book that details the value of looking at your career as a long term plan instead of short term. Best book I have read this year.
  3. Jeffrey Gitomer's "Little Green Book of Getting Your Way". Masterful tools and techniques for presenting your point of view and influencing others.
  4. Keith Ferrazzi's "Never Eat Alone". Relationship building must have filled with strategies to build your network. The best thing is a lot of the ideas and tips can be implemented immediately.

Now I know that a lot of you are so busy that finding time to read a good book is not easy, but I promise that these will be worth your time and will impact your business.

I hope you enjoy them and find the value that I did.

If you're looking for a book recommendation, I'd suggest checking out my book 'Sound Is Not Enough: The Art of Captioning for Universal Access'. This book is a must-read for business executives, media producers, event organizers, employers, and educators who want to create inclusive experiences for the 466 million deaf people worldwide. As a deaf female B2B accessibility consultant, I provide a unique perspective on the importance of optimal captioning and communication access. 'Sound Is Not Enough' offers valuable insights and practical strategies for making content accessible to everyone. You can learn more about it here: https://audio-accessibility.com/book/
