Raising money for Hertfordshire children's charities and celebrating all things Hertfordshire.
The sun shone for the teams on the 28th September for the Great Big Walk for Herts. More than 300 walkers took to the Hertfordshire countryside raising over ￡75,000 so far, for 12 local children’s charities. With donations still coming in, we are aiming to hit a final fundraising target of ￡80,000.
The event saw a wonderful mix of walkers, ranging in age from 10 to 80, including staff from Helping Herts, volunteers from the charities,?individual supporters and corporates,?and even a few four-legged friends! A huge thank you goes to?The Friends of Hertfordshire Way, who provided guides for each leg and helped make the day a success.
