'The Great Acceleration' - something to think about during World Water Week

'The Great Acceleration' (Steffan et al. (2004) Global Change and the Earth System) demonstrates the impact of human activity on Earth system trends from 1750 – 2010.  I'd like to draw your attention to the exponential increase in water use, urban population and dams and the consequential negative correlation in earth system trends. It shows how important it is to save our natural resources for our future generations. #resourcerevolution #waterscarcity #recycling #reuse
