Gratitude
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” —Albert Einstein
My Grandfather looked a bit like a handsome Albert Einstein with a dapper haircut - light pomade, finger waves and a warm smile. His wife, My Grandmother (equally as stylish, a fashionista, daughter of a clothier) lived every moment of her life filled with gratitude and wonder. Every color of a fall leaf, not to be overlooked; every texture of a fabric, a wonder to behold. An unabashed extrovert, people were her most powerful fuel.
Two generations later: a professed "extroverted introvert," I'm exhausted. It's the last working week for me of 2020 and despite being one of the hardest years of my life, I am filled with gratitude.
? Gratitude for my job, my company, my boss & my team
? Gratitude for my health, my Mom's health (there was a very close call this year), my friends' & family's health
? Gratitude for the many... many new connections I made this year in the EA world, to those of you who reached out to me here on LinkedIn, had an intro meeting, shared ideas, laughed about our curious jobs, to those who I'm now coaching or who are inadvertently coaching me each day
Everything is a miracle. We're almost there. Thank you.

4 年Love this, Shelley Trask ! I 100% agree. As challenging as this year has been for me, my family and my team, I still feel like I hit the jackpot with the people I have in my life and we are exactly where we need to be. There’s always a silver lining to every situation. Thank you for this refreshing post!
