Gratitude

About a year ago, I heard something that felt like it had to be correct. The idea was that people who express gratitude are happier and more resilient than those who don't.?
More interesting was the claim that some of the same benefits were experienced by those who heard about gratitude. I decided to take a day a week and help myself be happier and more resilient by finding something I am grateful for and trying to help people around me by sharing my gratitude.?
I don't know if it is helping others, but it does help me. This week we will celebrate Thanksgiving in the US. As part of that, I will forgo my regular sharing and focus on being thankful daily this week.?
To start, I am grateful for the written word. Humanity would be exceptionally limited without the ability to record and share information over generations. Learning from others enables me to bypass many mistakes I would have had to make and build on the work of those before me.
I hope you take advantage of an extra bit of happiness and resilience this week. If you are up for it, I would love to read about what inspires gratitude in your life.?
Until Next Week!
Robert
