Gratitude
Team,
Every day, I am reminded of and grateful for our talented colleagues around the world. Colleagues who are mission driven with grit, resilience, and intelligence ready to fight and win for our customers, our shareholders, and each other every day.
As we enter the final weeks before GE Vernova and GE航空 become fully independent companies on April 2, I want to thank four 通用电气 Corporate leaders who have made an incredible impact on GE’s transformation to a stronger, more focused company that is ready to bring on this new chapter.
As General Counsel and Board Secretary, Michael Holston has provided outstanding partnership and counsel during his six years with GE. His steady, guiding hand has served all of us well against an immensely challenging global backdrop—the likes of which many of us have never experienced before—with a global enduring pandemic and geopolitical tensions. I grew up watching a lot of Penn State college football. On defense, they had a unique position aptly called “Hero”—the player that roamed the field and always went to the action. This is Mike for GE, and we are better for it.
Linda Boff has worn many hats at GE over her 20 years at the company, most recently leading our marketing and communications efforts, learning and culture organization, and the GE Foundation. I believe the hat she wears most proudly is the one that charges her with bringing our stories to life and capturing the hearts and minds of countless people around the globe. I’ve personally admired learning from Linda how we “bring the heart to our work,” an important vision that has connected us to GE’s purpose of building a world that works.

Jennifer VanBelle has played a crucial role in putting us in the position of strength needed to transform GE. As Treasurer for GE and CEO & Treasurer for GE Capital, Jen’s leadership transformed GE Capital, strengthened our financial and operating performance, and ultimately put us in the position to be able to launch three public companies. Most recently, Jen’s leadership style and operational rigor made her uniquely suited to GE’s Separation Management Office, helping navigate through the complex work required for separation. As someone who led so much of our debt reduction efforts at the company, we are the ones in her debt for her meaningful 26 years at GE.
As Chief Human Resources Officer for GE, Kevin Cox has been at the very center of our large-scale transformation—one which would not have been possible without our world-class people. Kevin leaves his mark on GE through his thoughtful approach and his ability to decisively navigate tough situations, well demonstrated by his leadership of the COVID taskforce. I’ve personally benefitted from Kevin’s partnership and guidance over the last five years as we navigated complexity, both within GE and in the world around us.
Thank you, Mike, Linda, Jen, and Kevin, for your commitment to and passion for helping to advance GE forward. The teams at GE Vernova and GE Aerospace stand at the ready to forge ahead on this new, exciting path with many thanks to you for laying our strong foundation.

8 个月Why hasn't GE come out with anything in the Virtual Reality sector. Couldn't you use this across all industries? This is great for training staff members.
