Gratitude knows no boundaries
Tomorrow’s memories will be made out of the moments of today

Gratitude knows no boundaries

Several years ago, in a moment of brilliance, I asked our children to write personalized Thanksgiving place card holders telling each person why they were thankful for them. Their young sentiments captured a wonderful moment in time. It brings a smile to my face to read them and reminds me that tomorrow’s memories will be made out of the moments of today.

As the turkey roasts in the oven, the house is unusually calm. There are far fewer chairs, but there is peace in the quiet and confidence in what lies ahead. Today, we celebrate Thanksgiving in America, but gratitude knows no boundaries. The world has joined together throughout the year, and we give thanks this holiday season for the gift of today and the hope of many tomorrows to come.

It has been an immense privilege to manage though this extraordinary time with my Russell Investments associates. I am deeply grateful to be part of:

  1. A firm whose mission, at its core, is to improve the lives of others.
  2. A team who genuinely cares about our clients and each other.
  3. A business community that provides for our neighbors.
  4. A world where kindness, generosity, and ingenuity abound.

I wish you and your loved ones the best today and every day.
