Gratitude Isn't Just a Fad: Ideas and Tips to Fix Work in 2021

The power of gratitude is a remarkable thing. Recognizing someone’s inherent humanity—and acknowledging accomplishments—can move mountains. When you lean into gratitude, you embrace what the world needs most: grace, kindness, humbleness.

Need a gratitude refresher in your life?

Here are some courses on LinkedIn Learning that might be beneficial for you.

Dorie Clark, Embracing Gratitude at Work

Want a crash course on gratitude? Dorie Clark picks apart the gratitude fad and gives you the brass tacks on what works and what doesn’t. What I love about Dorie is that she’s a terrific speaker and storyteller who doesn’t sugarcoat the truth: Gratitude works if you work it.

Arianna Huffington and Shawn Achor on Work-Depression and Gratitude

Arianna Huffington and Shawn Achor are ordinary people like you and me: overworked, overwhelmed, and dealing with mental health challenges like exhaustion and depression. In this candid and casual conversation, they talk about how to spark joy and leverage gratitude to do more than simply fix work. They want you to fix yourself first.

What have you seen on LinkedIn Learning that you like?

I love the curriculum about gratitude because it speaks to me in my soul. While writing my new book, I practiced gratitude and kept a journal to remind myself of what truly matters most. And as Brené Brown says, it’s people people people. You can’t move mountains and accomplish anything great in this world without the effort and inspiration of others. For that, I’m grateful.

Want to see these courses or mine on managing conflict or demonstrating self-leadership at work? I'd welcome you to use this code for a free, 30-day trial. Take the courses for free and learn from others.

Thanks for this share Laurie Ruettimann (she/her). Couple things I haven’t seen here. One I’d add that’s been phenomenal for me is the book “Gratitude and Pasta” by Chris Schembra . So in depth on the human connections that gratitude can create and how to develop it. Thank you for always sharing valuable content ??.
