Gratitude in Hiring and Beyond
As Thanksgiving approaches, I’ve been reflecting on the power of gratitude—not just in our personal lives, but in the workplace and the hiring process. It’s easy to focus on deadlines, metrics, and results, but stepping back to express genuine appreciation can transform relationships and outcomes.
In recruiting, gratitude often shows up in the simplest of moments:
These small gestures of gratitude remind us that every interaction is an opportunity to connect on a human level, to recognize the effort and intention others bring to the table.
Beyond recruiting, gratitude builds stronger teams, fosters loyalty, and creates a culture where people feel valued. In my experience, it’s not just about saying “thank you” but about showing it through our actions—being present, listening well, and following through on commitments.
So, as we head into this season of thanksgiving, I want to pause and express my gratitude:
Let’s carry the spirit of Thanksgiving forward, not just this week, but every day. Gratitude, when practiced consistently, has the power to deepen relationships and create lasting impact.
Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving!
