Gratitude and Growth: Thank You for 2024, Here’s to 2025!

As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a truly transformative year—one filled with significant milestones, both personal and professional. This year marked the start of my entrepreneurial journey as the Founder and CEO of Veritide, a venture dedicated to driving innovation through Generative AI and advanced data strategies.

It was also the year I closed my long association with Cisco after 20 incredible years. I am deeply grateful to have spent half of Cisco’s 40 years of existence contributing to its legacy. My time at Cisco was nothing short of remarkable—an experience filled with learning, collaboration, and growth. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my colleagues, peers, leaders, and employees who made this journey so enriching. The skills, relationships, and insights I gained during my time there continue to inspire and guide me.

Generative AI: Transforming Corporate Functions in 2024

The latter half of 2024 has also witnessed groundbreaking advancements in Generative AI, reshaping how businesses approach critical operations in sales, finance, and customer support. These shifts have been particularly impactful for corporate use cases, demonstrating how AI is moving from experimental stages to being a core driver of business success:

• Sales: AI now enables hyper-personalized outreach by analyzing customer behavior and tailoring sales pitches, helping businesses achieve higher engagement and conversion rates.
• Finance: From automating complex financial forecasting to identifying cost-saving opportunities, GenAI has empowered CFOs to make data-driven decisions with precision.
• Customer Support: Next-generation chatbots and sentiment analysis tools ensure faster resolutions, improved satisfaction, and even proactive customer support, reducing friction in client interactions.
• C-Suite Decision-Making: Executives are leveraging AI for market trend analysis, risk modeling, and actionable insights from customer data, redefining leadership strategies.

These advancements highlight how AI is transforming the workplace and driving efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction across industries.

This year also marked an exciting shift in my professional network. As I delved deeper into the Generative AI space, I was thrilled to expand my network by over 50% compared to just a few months ago. Previously, most of my connections were from my place of work, but now I am energized by the conversations, collaborations, and shared enthusiasm with professionals across diverse industries.

The support and engagement I’ve received, especially around my weekly articles on Generative AI, have been incredibly meaningful. Some articles garnered over 1,200 impressions within 24 hours of posting, underscoring the growing interest in this transformative domain.
