Gratitude, Faith, and Safe Driving

This Thanksgiving, as we gather around the table with family, friends, or even in quiet reflection, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who subscribed to the Ahead of The Rest Newsletter! I am very thankful and it’s an opportunity to pause and embrace the spirit of gratitude in multiple aspects of my life... In the hustle and bustle of it all, it’s easy to get caught up in deadlines, decisions, and distractions—but TODAY; Thanksgiving reminds us to be still and recognize the blessings we often take for granted.

For me, this season is about more than turkey and traditions; it’s about the intersection of faith and saftey. Following down that familar path back to your family, that rekindles spirts and ignites fires in us all. Faith—whether spiritual, personal, or even faith in ourselves—guides us in moments of uncertainty. It helps us align our values with our actions, ensuring that every choice reflects integrity, compassion, and purpose.

Every "yes" or "no," every pivot or pause, becomes a chance to lead with accountability and empathy. This Thanksgiving, I’m reflecting on three pillars:

Gratitude for the journey—Even when the road feels uphill, there’s always something to be thankful for.

Faith in the process—Trusting that every twist and turn has a purpose.

Responsibility to grow—Acknowledging that our actions can uplift, inspire, and shape a better future.

I encourage you to take a moment to think about: What are you most thankful for? In what ways can I make choices positively impact someone else’s life? This season, let’s not just focus on what we receive, but also on how we give—whether it’s our time, kindness, or support.
