Gratitude: An ExteNet Story

Gratitude: An ExteNet Story

There’s something special about this time of year. The nights get longer, darker and colder, yet we’re able to make them warmer and brighter by reflecting on the things for which we are grateful. As a husband and father, the top of my list will always be my family, and while I’d love nothing more than to spend the rest of this article regaling you with my favorite family holiday photos through the years, that’s more of an Instagram post – and my kids will be proud of me for being able to make that distinction.

Instead, for my first in a series of LinkedIn-exclusive articles, I’d like to highlight the many people I have to be grateful for as CEO of ExteNet Systems. So put on your most comfortable sweater, make a mug of hot chocolate (with mini marshmallows, of course), and join me as we take a few moments to recognize the many wonderful people who make working at ExteNet such a joy.

Our Customers

Now, I get how cliché it is for a C-suite executive to say, “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do,” but at ExteNet, we don’t merely say it – we put it into practice every single day.

I can say this so honestly because, well, frankly, our customers are some of the best around. From nationwide carriers and mobile operators to hospitality and entertainment venues to entire cities and municipalities, building owners and property managers, healthcare facilities and beyond, ExteNet has the privilege of working with some of the best brands, companies, and communities in the country, and I simply could not be more grateful for their continued trust in us.

Our Partners

No one accomplishes anything alone, especially in business, and our incredible partners are a testament to that notion.

In addition to being our customers, mobile carriers are also a wonderful example of our strong strategic partnerships. The most recent example of this you can see is in our groundbreaking partnership with MGM Resorts International to design, build and operate ExteNet’s advanced in-building signal and connectivity solutions across all MGM properties throughout the U.S., providing their guests unparalleled mobile connectivity with next-generation wireless infrastructure. This project represents the largest in-building cellular enhancement project in the country, and it’s merely one example of the incredible work we’re doing alongside our partners.

Throughout our business, ExteNet’s strategic partnerships across industries have allowed our business to grow and thrive over the past year, and the future is only looking brighter.

Our Team

The beating heart of any business isn’t the blank ink on the bottom line or the positive trendline on a bar graph – it’s the people who make it all possible.

At ExteNet, we have some of the best people in the business (and in my opinion, the whole country). The brilliant minds at work in our offices and out in the field work tirelessly, day in and day out, to make great things happen for our customers, delivering innovative solutions with their agile and forward-thinking mindsets.

Our team’s bold, innovative problem-solving delivers amazing experiences and builds best-in-class digital infrastructure through their dedication, attention, creativity, inventiveness, personality and warmth.

I count myself lucky to come to work every day so grateful for each and every one of my colleagues, and from the bottom of my heart, I can’t say it loudly enough – THANK YOU.

What About You?

Now, I pass it on to you. Who in your professional life are you grateful for?

Tag them in the comments, and let them know what their contributions have meant to you. Whether they’re a mentor, sounding board, go-to confidant or someone you just catch up with every now and then in the break room, no expression of gratitude is too small.

Great message Richard! I agree with your sentiments…if you live it, it is real! There are way too many for me to tag, but they know who they are! I hope you have a great finish to 2022!

Thank you so much for this post! I’m hoping for a viral chain reaction, and here’s my contribution to it: this year, I’m grateful for Anithea Dorch, who inspires me every day. I’m grateful for MiSuk Koch and Sunday Aiyash, PMP, for all the patience shown to me as a new team member learning processes or names. And I’m grateful for you, Richard Coyle, for normalizing authenticity. At ExteNet, everyone is true to themselves and it adds such freshness to our day. Thank you for asking!
