Gratitude!

Gratitude!

How often do you get great service and never tell anyone?

With Thanksgiving and the holiday season just around the corner, it's time we start being more thankful for all the great people who work hard for us. How many times do we say thank you to a server, repairman, retail cashier who has to endure another Black Friday, teacher, first responder for no reason, or when we see a person in a military uniform?

We are all guilty of being too busy to show a little kindness. The holiday season can be a stressful time of year, and for some people, it can be a sorrowful time, possibly due to the loss of a loved one or a sick family member.

Let's look at some ways we can be more kind and grateful.

  • Could you tip a little more to your server?
  • Could you pay it forward to someone in line in front or behind you?
  • Could you find a charity that donates toys for children and donate a toy?
  • Could you give a gift card to someone on the street corner for a hot meal?
  • Could you give a little something to your child's teacher?
  • Could you give a gift card or something to that coach who volunteers to coach your children?
  • Could you give a fruit bowl or something to a lonely neighbor?
  • Could you give a gift card or something to that landscaper who works tirelessly on your yard?

Thankful!

Many people in this world are hurting and that little something can mean a lot. Sometimes a hug or just your time is a gift to someone. Many people in our lives go above and beyond and deserve more kindness. Sometimes we just look at the negative in people without even knowing anything about their life.

We at The Hart Experience are thankful to all of our subscribers who read our weekly articles and comment. In the comment section tell us who you are most thankful for in the service industry.

Happy Thanksgiving!
