Gratitude

Thanksgiving brings around the idea of gratitude. It's said that "Gratitude turns what we have into enough," and I couldn't agree more.
Recently, I've been practicing gratitude right when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed at night, making written and mental lists to frame my day. What I have found is that the more I am grateful for, the more I find to be grateful for. My list is only getting longer every day.
This isn't to say that my life is perfect or that I have everything that I desire. What it does say is that I have everything I need - and that's sometimes a point that is missed. From the home that I live in, to the family and friends that surround me; the opportunities that I have had in the past and those that will arise in the future; the health of myself and family and friends.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but I urge you not to limit gratitude to this one day.
