Grateful for 2022 Contributions
Dixon Hightower Inc.
Charitable USA based nonprofit (501c3) building community based programs emphasizing self-sustainability
We are grateful for your continued prayers and monetary contribution. Thank you!
At the Solid Rock Youth Complex (SRYC) in DR Congo, 100% of our sixth graders achieved high scores on the national exam for the second year running! These students received specific scholarship support for further education from three phenomenal women who organized giving in Fairfield and Los Angeles,
California.
We anticipated more funds for the three-classroom goal than we received. The remaining need is $20,000.
As a result, the building activity is on hold. When we complete these three classrooms, we can recover the space now occupied as classrooms in the orphanage building and provide places for new orphans. It will allow class size to expand to offer more educational opportunities to our community. Last but not least, graduates can continue to the next education level at a reasonable cost near home.
Your donations support the SRYC staff, including around-the-clock caretakers for our seventeen orphans, school teachers, and clinical services for our orphans and over 120 students. While your generous gift made it possible for us to continue, there was a significant decrease in donations earmarked for this specific purpose. Please consider sending a monthly $25-$300 recurring donation. Be assured that any amount and prayers are helpful.
We accomplished amazing things with your donations. Most importantly, hope and encouragement were reinforced in the hearts of orphans and widows, and poor children were educated. The impact was felt directly in hundreds of lives and reverberated throughout the surrounding communities.
Please visit the updated website to see how your donations are making a direct impact. We also encourage you to share the website with others.
We are looking for great things for 2023 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Joyce Hightower
