Grate and pleasant feeling! Lean MBB

After +25 years of Lean training, trying, failing and learning I finally got a little bit of proof that I might, at least, know something about Lean Thinking and Performing. When I handed in my final master assignment I got following reply from, Lean Sensei Niels Fester;

“-Hi Stefan. Thank you for the excellent assignment that is hereby approved and congratulations on your Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification. Stefan, it has been a pleasure to have you on course and you have raised the level with all your knowledge and experience. Thank you. Br Niels” These words really brings warmth to my heart and joy to my soul. It has been a fantastic and interesting year, thank you so very much Compass Academy, Sensei Niels Fester, Master Campion Torben Madsen and Process coach Uffe Willemoes-Wissing.

A couple of years into my Lean Continuous Improvement journey, middle of the nineties’, and after running a few successful improvement programs. I really believed that I know everything there is to know about Lean. Now after twenty-five more years in the Lean transformation journey I understand that I don’t know much! But one thing I do have taught is that you can always learn and a great way to learn is trying, trying, and trying. How the result will be of trying is really not so very important. But the mindset is! When things you try is failing, just say – wow great, what you learned. When things you try is succeeding, just say – wow grate what did you learned. No matter what you will always be able to learn!
