Grapple for Apple!

The appeal of the apple is irresistible, and strangely much of its appeal is in the peel! Overall, the color, the shape, the size, the texture, the crispness, the sound bite (I mean the cracking sound when we bite!)- all these together make the fruit a package of charm and attraction! I am inclined to believe that in an earlier avatar it was the forbidden fruit of passion in the gardens of Eden, and responsible for all happiness and misery on earth! Such is the charm of the fruit that even doctors, who normally are cutthroat surgeons, recommend an apple a day at the cost of professional peril!

But the “forbidden fruit” was never so enticing till a bitten off apple caught the fancy of the young and old alike! Its dapple is everywhere- from the beaches to the boardroom and across all geographies! Everyone wants to flaunt his Apple, the newer the version the crazier it gets! The grapple for apple is out in the open and here to stay!
